Driving an EV up to Ooty & Coonoor this weekend | Any range, route, or charging tips?

Planning a 3-day road trip (Sat–Mon) with 5–6 people loaded in our EV for a trip up to Ooty and Coonoor.

For those who have recently done the Nilgiris climb in an EV:

• How is the range drop on the steep hairpin bends (e.g., Kalhatty vs. Mettupalayam/Coonoor routes)?
• Are the fast chargers near Mettupalayam, Coonoor, or Ooty reliable and accessible during peak weekend rush?
• Any specific regenerator/brake settings or driving tips for the downhill return journey?
