Public Statement

The mods of this subreddit has NEVER and will EVER be involved in getting any group or user removed or banned from Reddit or any other social media platform. As some of you know from previous posts both Elena & Jamie’s management team is aware of this sub and the contents and has worked behind the scenes to get it removed. I literally lost this sub a few months ago and regained access after fighting for it. Once that happened, I invited a moderator who used her knowledge and experience to make sure we are water tight. One of the major reasons this sub has been safe is because of the updated rules that were implemented.

We have kept the best interest of the members of this sub to allow you to discuss and contribute but also finding a balance where it doesn’t risk this space. We have only been met with complaints and slander. However these things must be in place to keep the space. Throughout this time we have seen and heard of different spaces and groups getting removed. The mods of this sub are often accused of directly removing these spaces. We DO NOT have that kind of power and we are also being targeted. I want to be clear that i do not have Tumblr or Discord or Twitter. My only social media is Instagram, TikTok and Reddit. The other mod was not a part of any other Elena group outside of this subreddit. Again, r/ElenaTaber is the ONLY social media we are active in that involves any Elena discussion. We are not aware of any drama or see any slander from other social media until it reaches our doorstep.

I still don’t understand what entirely is going on or why there is drama if we are on the same team with the same interest. The mod who was nice enough to help us has been targeted and i woke up to her account completely banned and left to decipher drama on apps that i don’t even have and groups that i can’t see, increased reports across all posts, downvotes and comments attacking her, her identity and accusing her of being a random Tumblr creator who have infiltrated and gotten another group banned? This is NOT true. Again, her only content and discussions that involved Elena was in r/ElenaTaber. For this reason, now that a key player in keeping this sub safe has been mass reported and banned from this app, this sub has been now moved from Public to Private with access by approvals only.

This decision was not made to exclude genuine members, it was made to protect the future of this community while I evaluate the situation and maybe one day open it up when it is safe to do so.
