Clients read confidence, not technical accuracy, how are you managing that gap on your team?

Day-to-Day Operations

Clients often don’t have a real way to judge whether a technique, assessment, or treatment recommendation is technically correct (unless they are other professionals or have knowledge in the field) but they are usually responding to how it’s communicated, confidence, clarity and trust.

That creates a real management challenge, especially with newer team members who are still building speed, clinical judgment, and experience with certain protocols.

Do you train newer staff to project confidence while they’re still building skills, or do you encourage transparency about their learning curve with clients?

Has either approach worked well for your team or has one ever backfired?

Thanks in advance to everyone who takes the time to share their experience. Your insights are truly valuable!!
