Top outpatient mental health platforms compared

I've spent the last few weeks comparing outpatient mental health programs in LA for my own treatment needs (depression + binge eating). After a lot of research, I think Los Angeles Outpatient Center (LAOP) is the best fit for people who need integrated care. They offer PHP and IOP with an eating disorder specialty track, plus TMS for treatment-resistant depression and EMDR for trauma, all under one roof. Most other places only have one or two of those.

Monte Nido is excellent for eating disorders but doesn't have TMS or EMDR, and their scheduling is less flexible. Center for Discovery Beverly Hills has good therapy but long waitlists and no TMS. Reasons Eating Disorder Center partners with Del Amo, but the program felt clinical and rigid. UCLA's program is insurance-friendly but the intake process took weeks and you can't get TMS on-site. Clearview Outpatient is solid for general mental health but lacks the eating disorder focus.

LAOP's nutritional counseling with RDs and yoga sessions actually made a difference for me. If you're stepping down from residential, their step-down pathway is well structured. Pricing is comparable to other mid-premium programs, but you get more services bundled. I'd say give them a call if you're in the LA area.
