Was it just me or did anyone else dislike Seth's arc resolution in Dragonwatch

DRAGONWATCH SPOILERS

So I recently reread fablehaven and that made me decide to read Dragonwatch. And so I did. And tbh I was disappointed.

Dragonwatch was cool and had some cool concepts but tbh it failed in a lot of the ways Fablehaven succeeded, it tried to be bigger and better and just fell flat. To me anyways. I still like it but like...

Was anyone else kind of pissed off at how Seth's arc resolved? Like first of all Shadow Healer is just kind of lame (I also wasn't a huge fan of the permanent wings but there's nothing inherently wrong with them I just don't like them.)

Furthermore with everything Seth was going through emotionally, Mull just decided he gets to sit in some magic water and be okay now? Without actually doing any of the work it takes to heal and change?? Huh?? Plus like I said Shadow Healer is fucking lame, just keep him a Shadow charmer and add extra abilities ugh.
