Critical Link from Earlier FWWM Draft

I think we can identify a missing link, or a smoking gun, for the Find Laura interpretation.

The first scene in this episode, from an early draft of FWWM, has Cooper in bed with Laura during her dream sequence with Mrs Tremond's painting.

She asks him "why didn't you save me sooner?" and they kiss and begin to make love, before hearing Sarah call out to her causes him to disappear.

The scene then plays out similarly to the theatrical version, but without Annie.

I think this ties Cooper more directly to the role of replacement father figure, savior or abuser depending how you look at it.

Further, I think it also ties directly into several scenes in The Return (i.e. DougieCoop with Janey-E, Cooper with Diane in Part 18).

i.e. this is essentially a missing "Primal Scene", as Ming (rip brother) would call them.
