Just watched both series for the first time - spoilers

Ok so my thoughts after having watched it:

1. I think Tully was a better friend than Kate. Why? Tully was always there for Kate and genuinely wanted the best for Kate always. Kate always seemed to have a bit of a jealousy / comparison problem with Tully and would also say negative things about her but I don’t think Tully ever did the same thing to Kate. I think part of this is Kate & her family are all Tully has but Kate has Tully but also her entire family.
2. I can see why Kate was upset re the accident but to cut Tully out so completely was awful. They could have talked it out. She could have had a break but what she did was too much in my opinion. She knows Tully really has no one else. It was cruel actually, after everything Tully has done. She’s incredibly giving.
3. I like Johnny but echo what others have said about their relationship being a bit awkward / how it started wasn’t that brilliant either. I’m also not sure how I feel about Kate divorcing him because he wanted to be a reporter / news producer essentially. They didn’t give us enough of a look at what caused the divorce. She must have known this from before. I get it, she wanted them to be no.1 but his job was a big part of who he is / was.
4. I like the way the show goes back and forth and builds up their relationship and personalities.
5. Kate had no right not to allow Tully to go to Bud’s funeral. Bud would have wanted her there and she just wanted to pay her respects.
6. so annoying that the rest of the episodes are out in June. If I’d of known if of waited until then.
7. how incredible is Kate and Johnny’s home?
8. I’d of taken that cute ass red car!
