(W7M ETGC Insignia) Documentary-style photograph of large-format red spray-painted graffiti reading “W7M 83GC” across the exterior wall of a Metro by T-Mobile retail storefront near Grand River Avenue and Telegraph Road in Detroit’s Five Points neighborhood. Captured on December 26, 2024, in Detroit, Michigan, the prominent marking measures approximately 6.5 feet tall by 7.5 feet wide and is accompanied by additional tags, symbols, and layered inscriptions across the building façade. The graffiti was created by W7M 83GC (also known as W7M ETGC, ScoreGang/SCRG), a Detroit-based “8Tray” faction — a local offshoot influenced by, but independent and unaffiliated with, the original Eight Tray Crips. A downward-pointing arrow precedes the main lettering as a territorial marker. “83GC” is locally interpreted as shorthand for “Hyena Crips Got Control,” reflecting the group’s “ScoreGang” identity. Adjacent inscriptions include rival callouts such as “BPSK,” “60K,” and “40K” (directed at Black P. Stones, Rollin’ 60s, and Rollin’ 40s Crips), along with anti-police messaging “Fucc 12!!!” (anti-police messaging) Located at 24150 Grand River Avenue (ZIP 48219), this Metro by T-Mobile store permanently closed in early 2026. The property served as a recurring canvas for W7M ETGC graffiti over a documented nine-month period (August 2024 to April 2025), remaining largely unchecked by rivals — suggesting a strong, sustained territorial presence in the 48219 corridor. The Metro by T-Mobile (formerly MetroPCS) store at Grand River Avenue and Telegraph Road in Detroit's Five Points neighborhood was forced to close, because it became financially and operationally unviable due to relentless gang vandalism. The constant property destruction, paired with explicit criminal messaging and death threats (such as "BPSK" and "R60K") openly displayed on the building's facade, ultimately made the commercial space unviable for the retail business to safely and profitably operate.
