Someone Poisoned The Air In The Break Room At Work.
Some background before I continue; I don't have the soap gene but I am allergic to cilantro. Even the littlest dose makes me red and splotchy, my throat tightens up until I can't breathe, and if I accidentally ingest enough, I'll vomit. It's really a bad time, especially if it's cooked into a dish well enough so that I can't identify it by smell.
Yesterday in my work's breakroom, I was sitting on a chair in the corner while a group of people were microwaving their lunches and sitting down at the main table. All of them were making instant noodle bowls (and burning them apparently because you could smell burning cardboard, but that's not the poison.)
As I was sitting there, suddenly the smell hit me, and I looked up to see where it came from.
One woman was shredding an absolutely huge, gigantic fistful of cilantro into her noodles. It was such an insanely massive amount of cilantro that I imagine even people who do like the stuff would be weirded out. It was bigger than her fist and didn't even fit in her hand, and the smell was atrocious. I left the room immediately since I could feel the nausea starting just by smelling it.
I mean, she has the right to eat whatever she wants, but I'm going to be weary of hanging out in the breakroom now...
