Glock 26 Gen 5 With Lasermax ??

Hey yall idk if anyone ever covered this but does anyone know if you can use a Gen 4 laser max guide rod for the Glock 26 on a Gen 5 ? I mean it’s the same exact oem guide rod so I know it will fit just wondering if anyone has tried yet before I go & waste my money because I see no Gen 5 models for the 26.
