Why I am the Good Natured Gamer

I have worked with children and young people for over 8 years, and I have been a gamer for even longer.

With a lot of gaming content aimed at children and young people, I believe that some of the games are not suited for them, e.g. grand theft auto can have a negative impact on younger children who are watching let’s plays. In addition some of the language used can be seen as offensive and parents/ guardians would not want their children repeating what is said.

So, that’s why I have started this channel. The games I play will range between E for everyone and T for teens (such as Overwatch). My language will also be clean.

And as a final note, just to point out that I am not against violent or scary games and play them in my spare time myself. But having seen first-hand children’s reactions to content that they were not ready for; (I have met parents whose children have had nightmares about FNAF)I want to make content that can be enjoyed by all ages.
