You must Forgive

You must forgive others or He won't forgive you

If you have been through years of abuse with somebody. Or even been through the worst experiences.

I know what that's like before He found me

It holds onto your soul and it weighs it down. And it leaves stains and scars.

Forgiveness acknowledges what has happened, and it frees you from what has happened like you've never met the person.

It's not easy, but you must face the person, and you can do that in any way, and they don't have to acknowledge you or say sorry.

But you must face them. He taught me how to and I was able to do it. This is my life example on how to forgive

How to forgive My example: i was with someone who abused me for 5 years

By accepting that it happened. I was married when I was real young 21

  • This woman was very beautiful. And at first kind.
  • That woman hurt me, Hit me, would abuse me
  • She had multiple affairs and would not stop
  • she gave me multiple STDs while married -she even slept with my best friend that I served with for 3 years.
  • i was a broken man and my heart became hard.
  • when she finally left me I was so happy.
  • I stay because I thought it was a man was supposed to do. Married for life
  • I did things in secret that nobody knew. I hid alot of shame and sin

By stating what happened and or Sin against you

I laid out everything this person did to me. Said every hard fact that had happed

And forgive them( remove it from the heart) as if they never wronged you before

So i would state what would happen, then from the heart, let it go as if they never had never done this.

Like the way our Father forgives us

He forgives us as if we never done the sin,

He told us this Matthew 6 14 For if you may forgive men their trespasses He also will forgive you—your Father who [is] in the heavens; 15 but if you may not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

How to say sorry:

Many people have a hard time acknowledging that they've done something wrong.

I used to have pride and would feel that unless i've done something way out of the line. Then I Would I admit my fault.

He taught me that while his disciples must ask for forgiveness.Just as much as we give forgiveness.

How to say sorry:

Acknowledge the thing, either a simple or the evil that you did.

And you must confess that you hurt them. Even if it was an accident.

Opening up your heart and admitting this humbles yourself not only for god but for the truth.

And simply say, i'm sorry I won't do that again.

If they forgive you, you've now caused healing love and joy.

If they do not, you must simply accept that. But you've done your best and moved on and lived with honor and integrity.

Because if you give money or goodwill, offering to the lord, the lord won't accept your goodwill gift.

Go and Reconcile with someone

Matthew 5 24* leave there your gift before the altar, and go—first be reconciled to your brother, and then having come, bring your gift*

The unforgiving servant

Matthew 18

21 Then Peter having come near to Him, said, “ Lord, how often will my brother sin against me, and I forgive him—until seven times? ” 22 Jesus says to him, “ I do not say to you until seven times, but until seventy times seven. 23 Because of this was the kingdom of the heavens likened to a man, a king, who willed to take reckoning with his servants, 24 and he having begun to take account, there was brought near to him one debtor of a myriad of talents, 25 and he having nothing to pay, his lord commanded him to be sold, and his wife, and the children, and all, whatever he had, and payment to be made. 26 The servant then, having fallen down, was prostrating to him, saying, Lord, have patience with me, and I will pay you all; 27 and the lord of that servant having been moved with compassion released him, and the debt he forgave him. 28 And that servant having come forth, found one of his fellow-servants who was owing him one hundred denarii, and having laid hold, he took him by the throat, saying, Pay me that which you owe. 29 His fellow-servant then, having fallen down at his feet, was calling on him, saying, Have patience with me, and I will pay you all; 30 and he would not, but having gone away, he cast him into prison, until he might pay that which was owing. 31 And his fellow-servants having seen the things that were done, were grieved exceedingly, and having come, showed fully to their lord all the things that were done; 32 then having called him, his lord says to him, Evil servant ! A ll that debt I forgave you, seeing you called on me; 33 did it not seem necessary to you to have dealt kindly with your fellow servant, as I also dealt kindly with you? 34 And having been angry, his lord delivered him to the inquisitors, until he might pay all that was owing to him; 35 so also My heavenly Father will do to you, if you may not forgive each one his brother from your hearts their trespasses. ”

We too are called to forgive if we want the father to forgive us
