Window coverings — dealers or DIY?

I got new windows (double pane) so I want to put in new shades. Is there any advantage in using a dealer such as Budget Blinds or a local business vs. buying the shades from Lowe’s or Home Depot and installing them myself or via a handyman? Open to arguments for either approach. Thanks for any help.
