Asura Hosting alternative with less packed servers

Asura Hosting offers cheap web hosting but it's not the most reliable host I've used. Their servers are too packed which sometimes leads to outages or poor performance.

I had a better experience with HostMantis but they increased their prices.

What would you recommend as a better alternative?
