(Maybe) Stupid question

I started my first game (on easy bc i felt like just experiencing the story) and i did a bunch of stuff but i just realized im at day 110 and i have heard any story thing for a while. The last thing that felt like it was central to the plot was going to the meeting point and having everyone there be infected (which was bs btw the infected killed my only combi and i cant get it back lol). Is this where the story ends or am i missing something? I dont have any more objectives but idk if there is some sort of event trigger i need to interact with or smth.
