Come on don't stay silent, do "your hard thing" & share it if you can
The “hard thing” in your life might not be what others expect. For one person, it’s starting a business. For someone else, it’s walking into a room full of strangers. And that’s the thing, “hard” is personal. That’s why it matters.
For me, hard is showing up in real life, especially in social settings. I’ve had this weird fear of being seen or judged, and for a long time, I avoided anything that made me feel exposed or vulnerable. I wouldn’t speak up, I’d avoid people, just drift under the blanket because it felt safer.
Hard things stretch your limits. They strip away the excuses. And most importantly, they build positive ego and confidence. This takes away the boredom from your life.
Maybe try waking up at 5 AM. Maybe it’s telling someone the truth. Maybe it’s asking a stupid question, applying for a job, or walking into a gym, learn cooking. Whatever it is, do that.
Give yourself your own daily missions.
