Polar Bear Man

I was with my family at an unfamiliar house. There had been several incidents of polar bears coming into populated areas and k ! LLing and wounding people. One came into the house and I told my family that I had seen news reports and knew what to do. There were no g u N$ , so for us to have the best chance we had to all attack together. We took kn ! ves (I ended up with scissors) and we all simultaneously struck at it. Then it kind of "shifted" and it was more like a guy ( think of the video of the sun bear in the China zoo) and it was aware that it had been defeated - possibly was aware that it was mortally wounded. It slouched out the back door and sat in a lawn chair mopping and perhaps expecting the end. In the first part I felt correct in defending my family, but afterward I felt sad.
