National Muay Thai tournament
Literally had the worst experience in haryana rohtak,i had my national Muay thai tournament I trained really really hard, from my class in gwalior 4 people went and i was the newest. We reached rohtak first thing, worst management ever, girls got hostel, other states people got hostel,we whole MP team were roaming around in campus built like maze in suns heat from morning to 4 pm,then at night we got worst room ever,an hall for 30 people mattress built like brick,3 fans no cooler.
We somehow managed one day i was lucky i brought odomos and no mosquito touched my while others were struggling,i gave sneakingly the odomos to one my team member,he is older than me but we get along pretty well.
For three days we had to sit in big ass hallway in heat, all bouts happening with no order,no one knows when his or her fight would be so we had to be present all the time.My weight from 56 went to 52 kg in just 2 days, thanks to no water and food supplies.
My fight happened with my own MP teammate,he had 4-5 MMA experience,i was 17 with 1.5 years experience, and he was 23.went to the distance full three rounds, lost via close decision and kept supporting my teammates, all lost, the one i talked about being close to won his first fight, got hit in the nuts in second in first round guess what,no doctors present and his opponent didn't got disqualified.
Conclusion: Situation of India's combat sports is like the worst, talent and hard work is there but no support, poor management and unethical practices are performed which i saw with my own eyes.
