**[What Happened]**

Could you do the JPN fan reaction to the recent >!amnesia arc!< (ch. 210) and setup for an overarching arc (ch. 227) in DanDaDan? I'm curious since it was polarizing in the West.

---

I'm kind of moved by how good Vamola is at cooking.

---

Is this actually their first date?

---

Vamola-chan is such a perfect assist.

---

The girl next to him is an alien, by the way.

---

So this basically confirms a Christmas date arc.

---

Just kiss already—maybe that would bring her memories back.

---

Vamola-chan adds such great flavor to both the dinner scene and the interactions between Okarun and Momo!! I love this sweet and slightly nostalgic atmosphere between the two.

---

At this point it’s becoming a mystery why they weren’t already dating.
MVP of this chapter: Vamola.

---

Nice to see an actual “post-victory meal” scene.

---

Are we really getting a Christmas date next week???

---

Episodes like this—without battles—are great too.

---

They’re basically a newlywed couple, damn it.

---

That apron look is beautiful.

---

The flirting between Okarun and Momo (feat. Vamola) is the most precious thing ever… Thank you, seriously.

---

Even without memories, just seeing how close they are is heartwarming…

---

Vamola’s Japanese got really good—and before I knew it she’d basically become the mom of the group.

---

Maybe Vamola inherited her cooking skills from her mom.

---

Their interactions are way too cute. Usually Momo is the pushy one, but Okarun stepping up and taking the lead this time is fantastic!

---

What an incredibly sweet and sour vibe. Give us more.

---

One of my favorite things about this series: after the battles, everyone sits down and eats together.

---

Since losing his memories, Okarun has grown and become more proactive. And even though Momo lost her memories, she still feels that spark with him. It’s great.

---

Wait… are they actually flirting more after losing their memories?
(I approve. Keep going.)

---

They get embarrassed when their eyes meet naturally, but when Okarun deliberately looks at Momo, he keeps staring until she looks away… What is this guy doing? Now I’m getting embarrassed.

---

Everyone here is just too cute.

---

Since Okarun still remembers the kiss, he definitely has the advantage here…

---

Okarun, please tell Momo that Serpo aliens are one thing, but Rokuro is a different kind of alien. If she punches him on sight again, I’ll feel bad for the guy.

---

Watching these two flirt while eating dinner… I could easily eat three bowls of rice while watching them! Hehehe.

---

No matter how many times she forgets, he’ll make her fall in love again.

---

Takakura’s gotten pretty muscular!!

---

I love the way Vamola says “mashita-su.”

---

The food art looks amazing. It almost feels like you can smell it.

---

Wait, the next update isn’t on Christmas?!
Okarun, congratulations though!

---

This is full-on rom-com mode.

---

That apron look is precious.

---

The way they keep glancing at each other is so emotional…

---

Watching these two makes it feel like the present moment matters more than memories—and I love that.

---

Honestly, even if the memories never come back, rebuilding their bond from zero might actually be nice.

---

A Christmas Eve-Eve date?! Damn it!!! Nobody interrupt them!!!

---

“Why would Ayase-san say something like that?”
Okarun, you absolute man.

---

Yep. This is pure rom-com now.

#Dandadan Chapter 227 – Fan Reactions Summary (Jump+)

---

Red Baron got bullied by two people and even had his abilities taken away… poor guy lol.

---

“Someone whose identity we don’t know” probably refers to the kunoichi who slipped into the ritual, right? They even showed her stealing the ability in the flashback.

---

The “Ace pilot” was acting all cocky and then got eliminated immediately. That cracked me up.

---

Daiki… I’m glad you’re okay…

---

That last page… could that be Manjiro?

---

Turbo Granny is adorable.

---

“Damn you…”

---

That final panel with Manjiro feels really ominous. I hope it’s just a misdirection…

---

Buga’s manly crying scene was great.

---

Seiko was called a liar on TV—could she actually be like Pinocchio or something?

---

People commenting at this hour are turbo fast lol.

---

Why is Saint-Germain saying “kusodaraa”?

---

Did the kid make it back home safely…? Thank goodness for that at least… Everything else about this chapter feels incredibly ominous.

---

I’m about to cry seeing Zuma again after so long.

---

So you’re not Red Baron—you’re basically Red Hood?

---

Turbo Granny and Saint-Germain definitely weren’t just enemies. They must have had a close relationship.

---

I’m glad that boy made it back to his parents.

---

I thought for sure Aira was Little Red Riding Hood—but she got swallowed by Accela, so it turned out to be Enenra instead?! What a twist. Does Manjiro know something?

---

I like how Zuma naturally accepts being called “dad” by the police officer.

---

Zuma is cute—and handsome too.

---

Stealing four years from a third-grader’s life is just cruel… That’s such a long time for a child.

---

Hmm… that final panel says “Manjiro.” What does that mean?

---

I haven’t read it yet! But I’ll say this now: when are we getting the Momo × Okarun dating scenes?

---

Are the Seven Lucky Gods going to appear?

---

The person with Zuma—isn’t that the teacher from Okarun’s school? I mostly remember her from that bunny-girl outfit though.

---

Story recap:
In Izumo, Momo regains her body but loses her memories (and her powers are stolen). Zuma, who had lost his eyesight, undergoes the same treatment (meaning his powers were taken too). → They return home → Okarun and Momo go on a date → They defeat the mummy man → Reunite with Jiji, Aira, and Vamola → Chaos → Yukishiro and the class president (both have their powers stolen).

---

Could the shared catchphrase be some kind of foreshadowing?

---

Come to think of it, Turbo Granny called Saint-Germain “Hyper Geezer,” so if he’s also saying “kusodaraa,” they must have some connection.

---

Vlad-sama, if you eat “Little Red Riding Hood,” won’t the hunter come cut open your stomach like in the fairy tale? You sure about that?

---

The “admit defeat” scene gave me chills… what a twist.

---

I’m glad Daiki finally made it back to his family.

---

If the name is “Red,” why didn’t anyone realize the Little Red Riding Hood connection sooner?

---

“Kusodaraa…” Same phrase as Turbo Granny… Saint-Germain is really suspicious.

---

I live right next to the hospital in Shimane that appeared in this chapter, so seeing it in the manga made me grin.

---

Adachi-sensei!! I’m so happy she’s safe! She’s basically his wife at this point.

---

I’m glad we finally saw Zuma regain his eyesight (even though his powers were taken) and Daiki return to normal…
But Daiki doesn’t look like a middle schooler. He still has the same body he had when he went missing.

---

Yeah… Little Red Riding Hood is literally “Red.”

---

“Kusodaraa…”
