r/KobeRepFits — The Official Community Guide, Standards, and Posting Expectations
Welcome to r/KobeRepFits — a subreddit created for one clear and focused purpose: to document and showcase how Kobes look, fit, and perform when worn. This is not a general fashion community. This is not a place for casual streetwear content or low-effort flex posts. This is a space where members can contribute to a serious, organized archive that helps others understand what Kobe reps look like in real use.
Whether you are someone who wears your pairs for basketball, for training, or for lifestyle, this is where you can share how they look and fit. While communities like r/KobeReps exist for quality checks, factory discussions, batch comparisons, and buying advice, r/KobeRepFits focuses on what comes next — how the pairs actually look when laced up and worn.
Our goal is to build a resource that’s genuinely helpful. Every post here should add value. Every post should contribute something meaningful to the archive. This guide lays out exactly what this subreddit is for, what’s expected from contributors, and how we maintain the quality and integrity of the community.

The Purpose of KobeRepFits:
At its core, this subreddit exists to provide honest, high-quality documentation of Kobe basketball shoes in use.
It is meant for people who want to see how pairs look on foot, from real users, in real conditions. It is not about chasing hype or flexing collections for attention. It is about building a reference that can help hoopers, collectors, and fans make informed decisions.
When you post here, you are contributing to a resource that will help someone else. You are giving other members a clear view of how a batch fits, how a colorway looks under natural light, how materials present themselves in real life — all things that stock photos or seller images simply do not show.

What Belongs Here
This subreddit is focused and specific. Only certain types of content belong here — content that contributes to the goal of documenting how Kobes look when worn.
On-Foot Documentation
Posts showing Kobes being worn, whether indoors or outdoors, for casual use or performance. The shoes should be the clear focus of the photo.
Full Fit Posts
Posts where the Kobes are part of an outfit, as long as the shoes remain the central element. The goal is to see how the shoes look as part of the full look, without the shoes being overshadowed by other parts of the fit.
Court Use Documentation
Photos taken during real use — practice, training, pickup runs, or game situations. The value of these posts is in showing how the shoes look and perform during actual use, not just while standing still.
Pickup Posts (On-Foot Preferred)
Posts showing new pairs that have just arrived. While box photos are permitted, members are strongly encouraged to include on-foot photos as well. A pair in a box provides far less value than seeing how it looks when worn.
Detailed Fit and Wear Reviews
Posts where members share multiple angles and notes about how the shoes fit, feel, and perform. These posts help build a deeper archive of information and provide valuable insight to others.

What Does Not Belong Here:
Just as important as what should be posted is what does not belong in this community. The following types of content will be removed to protect the purpose and value of this subreddit:
- Quality control requests, batch comparisons, or factory debates — These belong on r/KobeReps or similar subs that focus on the buying process.
- Sales, trades, giveaways, or price discussions — This is not a marketplace or a space for negotiating sales.
- Memes, jokes, or unrelated fashion content — Posts must center on Kobes being worn.
- Blurry, dark, or low-quality photos — If the shoes are not clearly visible, the post does not add value.
- No visible Kobes — Posts must include shoes that are on foot or in use.
- Promotional content, seller advertising, or spam — Posts should not exist to push a product, service, or shop.

What Makes a High-Quality Post:
Every member who contributes should aim to create posts that add to the archive in a meaningful way. High-quality posts share these characteristics:
- Clear and sharp images — The shoes should be easy to see. Good lighting, natural if possible, makes a huge difference. Avoid dark, blurry, or overly edited photos.
- Multiple angles — Show the shoes from the side (lateral), the inside (medial), heel view, top-down, and any other view that helps others see the details.
- No heavy filters or color edits — The goal is accuracy. Filters that change the color, texture, or material appearance reduce the value of the post.
- The shoes are the focus — In every post, the Kobes should draw the eye. Even in full fit photos, the shoes should remain the primary point of attention.
- Original photos only — Posts must show your own pairs. No stock images, no seller photos, no AI-generated content.

How to Structure Your Post:
A clean, well-organized post helps others and makes the archive stronger. The following format is encouraged:
Title
Make sure to clearly describe what is in the picture. Examples include:
Star Batch Kobe 6 Protro All-Star 2.0 — Outdoor Court Session
GK Kobe 5 Bruce Lee with Black Joggers and Hoodie
GX Kobe 8 EYBL — Hardwood Practice Run
Body
Include details that help others understand the pair and the context:
Batch: [e.g. Star, GK, GX]
Model: [e.g. Kobe 6 Protro, Kobe 5 Protro]
Colorway: [e.g. All-Star 2.0, Bruce Lee]
Size: [e.g. US10.5]
Seller: [Optional, factual only]
Agent: [Optional]
Context: [Where and how you wore them — hardwood court, outdoor game, streetwear, gym, etc.]
Fit Notes: [True to size / snug forefoot / roomy heel / break-in required / etc.]
Angles: [Lateral, medial, heel, top-down, etc.]
The more precise the information, the more useful your post will be.

Can I Mention Sellers or Agents?
It is acceptable to include batch names, seller names, or agent details in your post if it helps document the pair accurately. However:
- Posts must not serve as advertisements or promotions.
- References should be factual and directly tied to the shoes being shown.
- Do not include direct links designed to push others toward a seller.

Why Standards Matter
This community was created to provide a reliable, honest, and clean archive. Every post that meets these standards helps achieve that. Every post that ignores the standards makes it harder for members to find useful information.
When you contribute a high-quality post, you’re not just sharing your pair — you’re helping someone else make a smarter choice about what to buy, how to size, or what to expect from a batch.

Community Conduct
This subreddit exists to support a respectful and focused community. Every member is expected to:
- Engage respectfully. Critique the shoes, not the person posting them.
- Offer constructive feedback where appropriate.
- Stay focused on the shoes. Avoid personal arguments, batch wars, or factory debates.
- Help maintain the purpose and integrity of the community through thoughtful participation.

Retail Kobes:
Retail pairs are welcome in this community as long as the post follows the same standards for clarity, documentation, and effort. The focus is on how the shoes look and fit when worn — whether they’re reps or retail.

Moderation and Enforcement:
The moderation team works to keep the community clean, useful, and on-purpose. If you see a post that does not meet these standards, report it.
Enforcement is not about being strict for the sake of it. It’s about protecting the value of what we’re building here: a reliable, focused archive of documentation.

Working Together to Build This Archive
Every post that meets these standards helps build a resource that is genuinely valuable. Every thoughtful angle, every clear photo, and every honest description contributes to an archive that will help others for months and years to come.
This is not just another rep sub. It’s not about hype or karma. It’s about creating something that helps hoopers, collectors, and fans make smarter choices and appreciate the details of Kobe reps in real life.
If you’re unsure whether your post meets the standards, feel free to message the moderators before posting. We are here to help ensure that contributions align with the purpose of the community.
Let’s keep the focus clear. Let’s keep the standard high. Let’s build something that genuinely helps people.

Additional Posting Tips:
If you want your post to stand out and genuinely help others:
- Use natural light whenever possible. It shows color and material more accurately.
- Avoid using flash — it can distort how materials look.
- Include multiple angles to give a full view of the pair.
- Provide context — where you wore them, how they felt, what conditions you tested them in.
- Be honest — if something felt off about the fit or materials, share that.
