Reliability of / futureproof-ness Lemmo?

Hi all,

A year ago, I visited an e-bike event. I tried Lemmo there as well, and I'd have to say, the modular concept is growing on me.

The support and reliability is a factor for me, though. How futureproof are their bikes? The site says there are service points across the EU (I live in NL). Besides that, can most (simple) repairs or maintenance also be done by repair shops? Or are the bike parts too often proprietary to do so?

I'd like to avoid having a case such as VanMoof, where you'd have a hard time maintaining it when support stops or when they go out of business.
