Been hitting that “where do I even start?” wall in Figma way too often lately.

You know the feeling, you open a new file, full of ideas but totally blank on what **the first step** should be? Yeah, same here.

So I built something to help: **Co‑Designer,** an AI agent that takes the guesswork out of starting a design.

Here’s how it works:

* You upload your **design guidelines**, **project details**, or **past work**, and it builds up a memory of your system.
* When you ask *“How do I start?”*, it generates a step‑by‑step **roadmap** that actually follows your design language.
* If you haven't uploaded any guidelines yet, it'll generate from it's own.

The best part:
It searches the web **in real time** based on your prompt, pulling in:

* UX patterns that align with your design system
* Technical setup guides tailored to your stack
* Icon libraries, layout ideas, and design inspiration that actually match what you're building

Basically, it gives you momentum *without* breaking your own system.

(You’ll need to fork it and add your own API keys, but everything’s ready to go.)

# How I built it using Langbase’s Command.new?

I brought Co‑Designer to life using [**Command.new**](https://command.new), Langbase’s “vibe‑code” platform that turns prompts into production‑ready AI agents. It’s like having an on‑demand AI engineer.

With [Command.new](https://command.new) you get:

* A built‑in **Agent IDE** where you can tweak logic, prompts, and code in real time
* Automatic handling of agent memory: uploading your design docs or guidelines becomes part of a robust Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) setup.
* Production‑ready **Agent App** and **API** generated for you, with version control, visualized flows, and deployments at the click of a button.
* Quick **forking**, **sharing**, and seamless updating, so Co‑Designer works for teams out‑of‑the‑box too.
