Beaver's Newspaper

In this episode Wally is telling Beaver he's getting older and can't do everything with him. He says "In 8 years I'll be able to vote".

I was confused at first thinking voting age is 18, becasue Wally appeared to be around 13 or 14, it didn't make sense. Then I remembered this episode aired in 1959 and the voting age was 21 back then.

This is why it's so great having these old shows to be able to remind us how things used to be.
