Predictions: What’s the next big trend in LightLoadLifers thinking?
I'm curious about where the lightloadlifers (LLL) community is heading. We've seen the rise of minimalist carry, focusing on super-light materials adn packing only essentials. but what’s next?
My hunch is we'll see a greater emphasis on multipurpose items. Rather of just wanting the lightest possible backpack, people will want a backpack that’s reasonably light and converts into a portable workstation or has integrated solar charging. Essentially, minimizing weight but maximizing utility for the items they do carry.
Another trend I could foresee is a shift towards DIY and upcycling within the LLL space. Creating personalized, lightweight solutions from existing materials woudl align with both the minimalist ethos and a desire to be more sustainable. What are your predictions for where the LLL mindset will evolve in the next year or two?
