Where are all the pumpkins/charms???

I've been searching for hours and I only have 3 charms left. I don't know how many pumpkins are left, but I'm making them all as much as I can and trying again and again. I'll ask a quick question. For example, if I talk to a pumpkin and then move the recording point back in time, would the conversation with the pumpkin no longer count? Or, if I leave that area after talking to the pumpkin... Like leaving the game, idk. Please help 😔
