🚜 Why Paper Tickets Are Failing Agriculture Supply Chains - And Costing Farms Revenue Every Harvest

A potato harvest can look successful in the field and still lose money before it ever reaches the store.

🥔 One load leaves the field. Another is rerouted to storage. A third waits outside the plant because grading is delayed.

By the end of the day, paper tickets are sitting in truck cabs, scale houses, office boxes, and someone’s pocket.

⚠️ That is where harvest profitability starts to disappear.

📋 Most operations still rely on calls, texts, handwritten load tickets, and spreadsheets. When plans change because of rain, plant downtime, or storage limits, the process breaks fast:

• Drivers receive new paper tickets • Scale weights do not match harvest estimates • Grade changes and shrink are tracked manually • Standby time is missed • Carrier charges are forgotten • Billing is delayed because paperwork cannot be reconciled

💸 The result is not just slow administration.

It leads to:

📉 Underbilled loads

📉 Lost or disputed tickets

📉 Missing process loss and shrink

📉 Delayed grower payments

📉 Weeks of manual reconciliation

🔍 The real issue is not transportation.

The real issue is that there is no single record connecting the load from field → storage → grading → packaging → distribution.

📲 An Agricultural eTicketing System solves that by creating one digital record that follows every load through every handoff.

✅ LOADMILES helps farms, carriers, storage facilities, and plants replace paper tickets with:

📲 QR-based eTracking

🚛 Automated dispatch and load scheduling

📍 Delivery confirmation and proof of delivery

⚖️ Quantity validation and exception alerts

💵 Faster billing, reconciliation, and settlement

📈 Instead of searching for paperwork, teams can:

👀 See exactly what happened to every load

💸 Identify where revenue was lost

🧾 Know what still needs to be billed

⏱️ Reduce weeks of manual reconciliation
