I've just completed a new goal! Cheshunt to Stoke Newington

I got the train from Liverpool Street to Cheshunt and followed the canal 11 miles to stoke.

It was the first beautiful day of the year for walking and by luck the job I had on today fell threw (I say luck... I'm a couple of quid down ) it was a lovely experience walking threw the lee valley park. Plenty to see there before starting the canal walk.

A fair bit of the walk is just the canal and industrial works with very few points of egress from the path so definitely bring a few sandwiches and water.

A lot of canal boats, I'd say a quarter are abandoned. If you fancy trying it don't rely on the stone ridge cafe to have any food. They said they didn't do any today... I could have cried.

I started the walk at 10:30 had a noes around lee valley nature park , got on the path for 11:15 and Got to Stoke Newington at 14:25

Currently tucking in to a naughty burger and a well earned pint.
