Searching for a book with a navy/black background with something red??

A teacher gave me a book a while ago but I lost it and can’t find it. It started off with A girl being heartbroken after her childhood best friend and her broke up. She went on to meet a famous singer who was like multiracial. Something happened with him luring her to his bathroom and he tried to get her in the bathtub with him but she ran and I’m pretty sure the dude gets arrested at the end. Does anyone know or remember similar book?
