How long does it actually take to trust your partner again after they lied to you?

Found out a few months ago my wife had been hiding how much debt she'd racked up, not an affair, just money stuff she was too ashamed to tell me about. She's been completely transparent since, shows me statements without me asking, has really tried to make it right. Logically I believe she's being honest now.

But emotionally I still catch myself double-checking things, feeling that little spike of suspicion even when there's no reason for it anymore. I hate that I'm doing it because I know it's not fair to her at this point, she's clearly trying, but I can't just flip a switch and trust the way I used to.

For anyone who's rebuilt trust after a lie that wasn't infidelity — how long did the suspicion actually last for you, and did it ever fully go away or did you just learn to manage it?
