(OOC: art by a former friend of mine, i don't have their socials anymore unfortunately.)

Hey guys! I'm not *entirely* sure how I got here. All that I know is that one minute I'm fighting Havok (I managed to gather some intel in the 3 days I've been here through some old discarded newspapers, and apparently he's not evil here? In my universe he's evil, so it's a little disorienting.) when suddenly I'm mid-swing and he makes this weird portal thingy. Totally threw off my spider sense. Next thing I know, I'm out in the Financial District looking at a totally different world!

Since I'm not from here and I don't have any loved ones with me that I would have to worry about endangering, I suppose revealing *some* stuff about me wouldn't hurt...

I was born a mutant in Detroit, Michigan in my universe, and lived there until I was 13 — at which point I moved to the X-Mansion after my mutant power manifested (night vision. That's literally it. So lame on its own, I know) AND I was bitten by a radioactive spider. Also did my first 3 months of hero work without web shooters, since there was no Spider-Man in my universe before me and I had to make them from scratch ^(which took so much trial and error.)^ I'm 21 now, and I kind of move back and forth between Detroit and NYC.

If you'd like to know more about me, let me know! I'll be happy to share anything but secret identities — to keep this universe's version of me and my friends and family out of harm's way.

(OOC: also, question about how the roleplay functions on this subreddit. is it based on in-person interaction, or is it kind of like social media or a big group chat?)
