POV: you built a "scalable" business that requires you to be available 24/7 to scale
Congrats, you have employees now.
You also have a Slack that never goes quiet, a team that texts you on weekends "just a quick question," and a calendar that somehow got fuller after you hired people to take things off your plate.
The business is growing, awesome. You are also somehow more exhausted than when you were doing everything alone.
However, you can add headcount and still be the bottleneck. You can hit $3M and feel more trapped than you did at $800K. The revenue chart goes up, the freedom chart does not.
The problem isn't the people you hired....They're doing their jobs.
The problem is the business was designed for you to be in the middle of everything, and hiring didn't change the design, it just added more people waiting on you.
What's the thing your team asks you most that they absolutely shouldn't need to?
