The return of USB 3.1 video output on Motorola flagships slab phones

For whatever reason Motorola in 2025 and 2026 regressed and was using USB 2.0 on there slab flagships. Which was a bummer cuz Smart connect is right up there as a top tier desktop mode.

It deserves a latency free wired mode. I was hopeful this would exist in the Moto signature 27 since the foldable came to the US and had video output.

I'm very glad to say that at least according to GSMArena they will support video output and wired desktop mode.

Realistically I'm not going to be able to afford $1300 phone or whatever it's going to cost. And I'm going to wait 9 to 18 months to get it on resale.
