Accomodation help in Rome

Assalamu Alaikum!

My friend and I are two Muslims moving to Rome at the end of September for a research/ work. We`re looking for accommodation from around 1 October, preferably for 1 year

Our combined budget is around €1,000/month (~ €500 each), and we're open to a 2-bedroom apartment or single bedroom for 2 people.

We're mainly looking around Monterotondo/ Monterotondo Scalo, Nomentana, Tiburtina, Tuscolana, Ostiense, Trastevere, or anywhere with a reasonable commute and areas with a reasonable commute, but we're flexible.

We're having some difficulty finding accommodation remotely, so I'd really appreciate any advice from people in Rome / Italy- especially recommendations for Muslim communities, student/professional groups, WhatsApp groups, housing groups, or trusted landlords.
