What should I do?

I’m 23M, turning 24 soon. With my birthday just around the corner, these thoughts have really been weighing on my mind. For the past few years, I had a hunch, but only recently did I get confirmation that the man who raised me—the man I’ve always known as my dad—is not my biological father.

My dad has no idea. My mother finally confessed to me that my suspicions were right. However, my biological father does know that I am his son. I already know his name and where he lives.

I really don't want the father who raised me to ever find out about this, because it would completely break him. At the same time, I can't shake the curiosity about who my biological father actually is as a person.

I feel completely torn between wanting to protect the dad who raised me and wanting answers about my own origins. Has anyone been in a similar situation? What do you think I should do?
