Can you request parts of items to be discarded?

Hi all,

I have a quick question.

If I order something through Neokyo, can I request that certain parts of the order be discarded/tossed in the bin before being packaged for international shipping?

Example.

I ordered a gaming console that comes with the body, power brick, cables and controller. Now the power brick is useless in my country because of the voltage difference and I already have my own to use with it. - Is it possible that I can request for Neokyo to remove the power brick and discard it so I can save on a bit of postage weight/space?
