Why won't my N3DSXL connect to my internet?

I've had my N3DSXL for a while and I had it connected to the internet but the other day I turned it on and it wouldn't connect and I keep on getting error code: 003-1101 and it still won't connect today, the network hasn't changed so I don't no why it won't connect. what should I do?
