So did Nexstar start phasing out "C clarity" only to reverse it?

I haven't really watched WBNS to check, but I heard Nexstar started phasing out Tegna's infamous "C clarity" graphics & music (which need retired anyways) only to reverse it as part of the legal wrangling.
