Synopsis: Born an a winter island, unable to grow any crops due to their harsh climate, he grew up knowing starvation. His clan prayed to Im for salvation, but he would not answer, and soon grew desperate - turning to stories of mythical demons and began to sacrifice their sons, hoping food would finally grow. Tales of a snake demon known as Kuchisake ran rampant, with Akari becoming a victim of their selfishness. His own mother slit his mouth, ear to ear, hearing that this will please Kuchisake, but to no avail. Akari fled the clan - desperate to escape, and encountered a snow storm, where he nearly lost his life, starving and frozen deep in the cold. His face in the snow, a fruit lay in front of him, shaped like a star, and he bit into it - unbothered by its revolting taste. He would soon find the snow to have no effect on him and continued to walk towards the shores of the freezing island, where he would run into the Happo Navy, led by Emperor Khan who came in search of the devil's fruit. Akari was inspired by the Navy's togetherness, seeing that they were a family - much unlike his own, as the Chinjao Family led entire fleets of ships with no conflict between them. Akari's words would have an effect on Khan - reminding him of his feelings towards his father, and Khan chose to take in Akari rather than kill him for his fruit. Younger Akari would be trained by Khan himself, who had not yet become King of Kano, and proved an exceptional talent for fighting, eventually awakening his devil fruit and revealing the Snow Snow Fruit was in fact not an ordinary Logia and was a Mythical Zoan - the Human Human Fruit, Model: Yuki-Onna, a mythical snow lady who appeared to those stuck in blizzards. Akari soon became one of the Kano Empire's Si Xiang - and their Happo Navy's Supreme Commander, titled Genbu the Black Tortoise and trusted with leading the conquest of the North Blue whilst Khan remained in his empire, a symbol of Emperor Khan's belief in Akari's strength.

Personality: Akari is a strict individual with an intense loyalty to Khan, tolerating no failure from the warriors of his army. He believes the sole purpose of his life is to serve the Empire and furthering the Chinjao Family in their power over the sea. This seems to stem from his past where his own family only saw him useful as a sacrifice making him extremely focused on proving his worth to the Chinjao Family - at any and all costs, ruthless towards its enemies and feared by the seas. He takes extreme pride in his status as Commander, wearing the miniature golden 'Happosai' on his head.

Abilities: Akari is one of the three Si Xiang, which are the most powerful individuals within Emperor Khan's empire. He is sole leader of the Happo Navy, directly under Khan's order, and as such, second only to their Emperor himself, as the only Commander of a Yonko Fleet, which Khan himself no longer fights with in the flesh. He has mastered the Hasshoken Technique of the Chinjao Family - allowing him to create vibrations with his limbs, generating powerful shock waves. He possesses an awakened Mythical Zoan which allows him to create, control and transform into snow and is so proficient with this ability his Happo Navy's known to be invincible at sea - due to Akari's ability to create blizzards, altering the weather itself, causing such an extreme cold that entire fleets of ships are robbed of their body heat, with any ships entering his blizzards disappearing - many soon falling unconscious due to the cold, unable to see through the snow. As the Yuki Onna, Akari becomes a ghost allowing him to appear & reappear elsewhere within a certain radius - as well as fly through objects and people, rendering him fully intangible due to his ghost-like body. This makes him only susceptible to haki attacks, however, when Akari is in Ghost Form those with Haki weaker than his will fail to make him tangible simply passing through him like he's not there - but he is extremely weak to fire, & can be burned whilst in Ghost Form. He can form his snow into constructs usually creating a scythe which he slices opponents with, and can absorb the heat of anyone he touches or slices. Akari is the strongest of the Si Xiang, leading to the misconception that he's a Yonko, due to the Happo Navy being the most feared fleet on the sea without Khan's presence. On the land his extreme snowfalls can change entire landscapes. Following awakening the 'Snow Snow Fruit' is not the Ice Ice Fruit's inferior - now a powerful mythical zoan.
