Current state of the face-off?

In my mind it is still 100% beneficial to go for the face-off even with the 20 second shot clock cut. In my mind this is where planned plays should come into effect for lacrosse, winning the FO then running a play right away still with 30 seconds on the clock seems like enough time for me. The FO used to be one of my favorite aspects of the sport, fighting for the possession after every goal. It seems cheap to loose the FO on purpose, reminding me of the "Hack a Shaq". The PLL needs to reinstate the full shot clock after FO IMO.
