question about being laid off soon

I’m currently on intermittent paid leave until February 2026. the company I work for is having lay-offs soon because the project we’re working on is almost complete.

Will I still be able to file weekly claims with paid leave or will I need to immediately file for unemployment claims if I’m laid off?
