The dead man's ledger has payments for murders signed with my name
I found a crime thriller that grabbed me with a single line of dialogue. A forensic accountant named Julian opens a dead man's ledger and finds entries for murder payments. Standard stuff for a criminal investigation. But the signature at the bottom of every payment is his own. His handwriting. His name. And he has never seen this ledger before in his life.
The accounts are still active. Money is still moving. Someone is using his name to pay for murders that keep happening. And the next scheduled payment is for a crime that has not been committed yet.
It is called The Frozen Ledger. I am completely hooked.
