Which budgeting app gets it right — and what does it still get wrong?
There are plenty of budgeting apps out there—YNAB, Monarch, Quicken, EveryDollar, Actual Budget, and others.
I’d like to learn from people who have actually used them.
Which budgeting app do you use or have you tried?
What do you love about it?
What frustrates you?
What features do you actually use?
What feels unnecessary or overly complicated?
Why did you switch or stop using it?
I’m especially interested in whether people prefer automatic bank syncing or a more private/local approach where they maintain control of their financial data.
Would love to hear your pros, cons, and experiences—even if the app you use isn’t listed above.
