[review] pdp wired controller w/steam

I bought this controller specifically to play steam games with a controller, keyboard holds me back. It ran me $39.99 Brand New from the store. Upon opening the tinted coloring of the plastic makes it look like there will be lights in the controller, however there isn't. They do make afterglow models however. It feels really nice and almost like it is to slick for my hands but it really isn't. My only gripe about it is I have to go up the sensitivity just a hair in the right analog because it doesn't turn the view quick enough for my liking. I had to install the 64 bit driver for my Windows 8 pc. It did not show up under controller in big picture mode until I installed the 64 bit driver from their homepage found here
This controller works perfectly on steam, it wasn't plug-n-play but all I had to do was double click a driver set to make it work. Has great vibration. I have yet to try the audio/mic jack in front as I'm unsure if this will work on steam?
It has some noticeable weight, it is a heavier controller [guessing about 3? pounds] Not easily seen in a dark room, the only light source coming from this controller is the micro usb port light. Controller has lock features that I've yet to explore using the right and left dpad buttons. Worth the price, you get a really quality controller. Hope this helps anyone looking if PDP controllers work well on steam, the answer is very much yes they do.

Edit: It should be known I tried using a Snakebyte ps3 usb controller I bought from amazon, Snakebyte does not work at all with steam.
Posted this on r/steam but they removed it as they do with all posts that deal with games and accessories...
