Chrome block adult websites isn't working for me

I've been trying to figure out how to block adult sites on Chrome, and it's been driving me nuts. I went through all the settings I could find, turned on SafeSearch, and even tried some extensions, but nothing seems to stick. I kinda need this for my peace of mind cos I share my laptop with my younger siblings. It's frustrating when I think I've got it sorted, and then boom, something slips through the cracks again. Honestly, why does this have to be so complicated?

EDIT: Think I finally found something that actually works. Managed to block what I needed with this extension.
