Hey everyone, I'm u/purple-iq, one of the people building Purple IQ. This is the official home for the project. If you're here this early, thank you.

What Purple IQ is

A search engine funded by people, not ads. You get real links ranked on merit, handed straight to you. No sponsored rows dressed up as results, no AI answer shoved in before you've read a thing, and your searches stay yours. We answer to you because you pay for it, not to advertisers.

Try it, no account needed

Run a few searches free right now: purpleiq.com/welcome. Five searches with no account at all, and 100 more over 14 days if you make one, no card required.

What this sub is for

This is a two-way space, not a billboard. Post and comment with:

• Questions about how Purple IQ works
• Feature requests, and what would make you switch your default
• Honest feedback and bug reports
• Search tips, and good or bad result examples (screenshots welcome)

How we'll run it

Friendly and constructive. We won't astroturf, we won't delete fair criticism, and we'll tell you straight when something is a limitation or still on the roadmap. Ask us anything.

We're a small team and this is early. The product improves fastest when people tell us where it falls short, so please do!

Thanks for being in the first wave.
