Welcome to Quiet Side, Resident.

"People don't come to Quiet Side by accident, and it's such a lovely, special little place... Now that you're here, why would you ever want to leave?"

This is the official subreddit of the Quiet Side Universe. A Science Fiction anthology/ community based project created by independent creator under the pen name "Quiet P". This community is for readers, sci-fi horror fans, collaborators, narrators, artists, and the curious.

What is Quiet Side?

Quiet Side is a rural township in northern/central Canada. It is home to ancient and mysterious circumstances... Things get freaky for the residents and especially guests in Quiet County.

This universe unfolds across standalone horror stories, all connected by an evolving web of lore, and mysterious secrets that lie buried in the town's soil.

Quiet Side canon stories are released in First Edition Shorts that are subject to editing and change, which are (FREE FOR ALL) to read. The first edition stories give the community a chance to follow, and join in with the canon development. The first edition stories are to be refined and re-released as their Definitive Edition into collection volumes and released for purchase or download - Find the link for the official Quiet Side online shop for free downloads, purchases, and membership groups at the botom of the community guide.

Who Are You?

By finding your way to Quiet Side, either by choice or by accident... You're a Resident now. Wether you're here to read, share theories, take part in community events like contests and polls to name story NPC's, Characters, Landmarks and help stear the community involved storylines, your presence is noted and weighted.

Residents may:

• Read free 1st edition Quiet Side stories from the universe.
• Introduce themselves to the community (In Character) as a resident of Quiet Side and why they've come here.
• Take part in polls and contests to name characters, places, landmarks, ect.
• Participate in polls for interactive stories that can steer characters in certain directions (This is exclusive to "Interactive" first edition stories).
• Apply to narrate or illustrate Quiet Side content.
• Theorize, discuss, or even rollplay in-universe.
• More to come...

But mind your steps... some of the residents of Quiet Side can be very set in their ways, and they don't take kindly to outsiders stirring up the nest.
