Hello everybody. I’m in the midst of typing up a short manual on how to start feeling better.

Long time lurker, never really posted. I want to add my little blip on the internet. I’m 25F and I’ve been through a few things. I’m currently quitting fentanyl(snorting). I have been using for about 3 years. When I was 20 I started using. I was doing very well for myself and I had decent job that paid my bills and basic necessities. Over the last 5 years I’ve dealt with starting to use opiates, then losing my job, and my car, and my apartment and facing eviction, going to treatment and actually starting a treatment program. Getting clean again and re-centering myself and relapsing for a span of years, not giving a fuck about myself for a long time, then one day I was just fucking tired of living the way I did. I’m actively on this journey but I honestly feel like I know how to get clean naturally without needing to go to the hospital. I’m not a medical professional but I’ve been able to get clean from using fentanyl without having to go to the hospital. I have detoxed from fentanyl at home without a medical setting. These are just some of my experiences and I’m doing this using coping mechanisms and education about the human body and mind that I’ve learned from actually doing it over time. I have been to treatment before. I think that treatment is important for people starting this journey. Some people really need additional help and that’s ok too. I just know that for myself I can quit using this without going to treatment because I know what skills to use and how to deploy them to stay clean in my everyday life. I’m ending this journey and I’m going off the experience that I’ve had.
