Welcome to r/RVAActually 🪩🐀

Welcome to RVA Actually!

RVA Actually is a place to talk Richmond real from all kinds of perspectives, the good, the weird, the random, and everything in between.
Share local news, opinions, events, businesses, history, hidden gems, complaints, or whatever else is on your mind.
The goal is simple: real conversations about RVA where everyone is welcome and people can speak without being banned for no reason lol. But being respectful is non-negotiable, and there’s no room for harassment, bigotry, or being an asshole.

Whether you’ve lived here forever or just moved in you’re welcome here !

See a Richmond rat the size of a small dog? Post it. 🐀

Have an unpopular RVA opinion? Let’s hear it.

Witness something that definitely classifies as Richmond real? Tell us about it.

Have a pic or video that says, “Yep… that’s Richmond”? Drop it.

What’s your Richmond lore ?

&If you’re one of the first people here, howdy ! You can officially say you joined before it was cool 🥸
