AIR MILES Cash Miles <> Dream Miles transfers are back!

AIR MILES collectors can rejoice as mileage transfers between Cash Miles and Dream Miles are back! Rewards Canada received notice from AIR MILES management that the feature was turned back on as of this morning.

The transfer miles option has spent a good amount of time ever since it launched in 2023 as “unavailable at this time” due to technical issues and required improvements. We did see it return for a day or two back in August, after which it had to be turned off again and in the words of Eminem, “Guess who’s back, back again?” The AIR MILES Transfer Miles option!

Hopefully they have everything working smoothly now and the transfer miles feature will remain in place – especially with the holiday shopping season now upon us and more importantly, for the now ever so frequent redemption events!

Transfer details:

• AIR MILES  Blue collectors can transfer up to 500 Reward Miles™ per calendar year between their AIR MILES Cash and Dream Accounts. For greater clarity, the limit of 500 Miles is cumulative; all transfers from Cash to Dream and from Dream to Cash will contribute to the total annual limit.
• AIR MILES Gold® collectors can transfer up to 3,000 Reward Miles™ per day between their AIR MILES Cash and Dream Accounts.
• AIR MILES Onyx collectors can transfer an unlimited number of Reward Miles between their AIR MILES Cash and Dream Accounts per calendar year. There is a daily transfer limit of 3,500 Miles between a collector’s AIR MILES Cash and Dream Accounts through the AIR MILES website and app’s digital Transfer Miles feature. Onyx collectors can transfer more than the daily digital limit of 3,500 Miles by calling AIR MILES Customer Care and completing verification requirements.
• There is no fee associated with the Transfer Miles feature between a collector’s Cash and Dream accounts.
