Cyberstalking is using electronic means (internet, email, texts, social media) for repeated, unwanted contact that makes someone fear for their safety, involving threats, harassment, doxing, impersonation, or unwanted monitoring, often to control, intimidate, or cause distress, and is a serious crime distinct from typical cyberbullying.
Key Actions Constituting Cyberstalking:
- Threats & Intimidation: Sending messages threatening bodily harm, property damage, or extortion.
- Repeated Contact: Constantly emailing, texting, or messaging, even if no conversation occurs, to annoy or terrify someone.
- Doxing: Publishing private information (address, phone, photos) to humiliate or incite others.
- False Accusations: Spreading false information about a person's conduct, injury, or illness.
Elements of Cyberstalking:
- Repeated & Unwanted: A pattern of contact, not just a single incident.
- Use of Electronics: Involves technology like phones, internet, or social media.
- Intent to Cause Fear/Distress: The conduct would make a reasonable person feel unsafe or emotionally distressed.
- Encouraging Others to Harass: Inciting online mobs or third parties to join the harassment campaign against the victim (also known as "dogpiling").
The evidence has to match the charge. From what I saw it’s plenty of evidence to put away whoever the people who want to see Rizi get justice to be able to do so. The whole messytok isn’t culpable. I don’t even really know who’s culpable except for who she named on that live with Tea Tyme that I saw, and on a Live from Kevin The Comedian (if I messed names up my bad) Hopefully this helps whoever is helping her
